City council decides to draw up development plan for Sprendlinger Landstraße industrial estate

At its most recent meeting on May 22, the Offenbach City Council approved the development plan no. 658 for the Sprendlinger Landstraße industrial estate. The industrial estate is located in the south-west of Offenbach to the south of the B43 federal highway (Taunusring / Odenwaldring) and to the west of the "Lauterborn" residential area. It has excellent transport links and is an ideal location for manufacturing companies and service providers. With regard to the data center concept, which examines potential locations in the urban area, development plan no. 658 is intended to exclude non-corporate data centers. In addition, the objectives of the entertainment venue concept, adopted by the city councillors in 2014, will be taken into account in development plan no. 658. The proposal will be submitted to the municipal council meeting on Thursday, June 6, for a resolution. In addition to the Bieber-Waldhof industrial estate, another important building block in the implementation of the data center concept has now been set in motion.
