Municipal council decides to publish draft development plan no. 656 "Kettelerstraße data center"

With the establishment of development plan no. 656 "Datencenter Kettelerstraße", a data center is to be built on the property at Kettelerstraße 100 / corner of Mühlheimer Straße 164. At their meeting on November 30, 2023, the city councillors approved the creation of a project-related development plan (development plan no. 656) to secure the location for a data center.

With the recent decision by the municipal authorities, the first step has been taken towards the forthcoming public participation and the involvement of public bodies in the draft development plan.

A separate public announcement with information on the opportunity to participate will be made following the resolution by the city council on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
