The gutted high-rise skeletons of the former KWU towers on Kaiserlei are being structurally demolished. ABG Frankfurt Holding is building the Kaiserviertel urban quarter on the site. Yesterday (28 May), Lord Mayor Dr. Felix Schwenke, Frank Junker, Chairman of the Management Board of ABG Frankfurt Holding, and Lukas Schirmer, authorized signatory and head of the Offenbach branch of demolition company Becker Sanierungstechnik GmbH, provided information about the major project.

"For a long time, the KWU towers were the first thing people saw when they came to Offenbach. This has distorted Offenbach's image for a long time, with its now very positive developments in many areas," said Lord Mayor Dr. Felix Schwenke at the meeting.

"The start of the dismantling of the towers is therefore a good day for Offenbach. The construction of the new Kaiserviertel by ABG will make an important contribution to the perception of our city and the overall development of the Kaiserlei as an attractive residential district and dynamic business location," Schwenke continued. The ABG Frankfurt Holding press release is available in the download area.
