Detail (I) Economy and housing
29.04.2015 – On April 27 and 28, 2015, the two detailed groups on the key topics of "Economy" and "Housing" met for the first time in small groups.
Specifically, the 16 representatives from politics, administration, Offenbach offensiv e.V. business and citizens per detail group worked on the detailed elaboration of the framework conditions that these target groups and business types require. The questions were: What specific infrastructure does a creative company need? What space is required for a production company? What do contemporary apartments for young families look like? What barrier-free apartments are already available in Offenbach? What requirements do skilled workers have for their living environment?
Further developing framework conditions
Based on these exemplary questions, the individual framework conditions were intensively discussed and further developed. In addition, consideration was given to where one can already start today in order to further develop these framework conditions.
The target groups and business types included both groups of people and companies that are already based in Offenbach and for whom an improvement in the framework conditions is being sought, as well as groups of residents and businesses that are to be attracted to Offenbach in the future.
At the beginning of the meetings, the planners from Albert Speer & Partner gave an insight into their previous work and presented their analyses of Offenbach's situation in the areas of housing and business.
