Messages on the master plan

At their meeting on December 4, the city councillors will decide whether to approve the Offenbach am Main 2030 master plan, which defines the city's spatial strategy.

In four tours, the people of Offenbach were able to get an idea of how the master plan developed in 2015 is working.

The effects of the master plan adopted in 2016 can now be read about. There will also be various tours of key projects in July.

The entire commercial area along the north-south axis is to be secured in the long term and kept attractive for businesses and companies.

How well do Offenbach residents know the master plan? Citizens can have their say via an online survey and an information stand at the weekly market on Saturday.

One of the ten key measures in the 2030 master plan is the development of Offenbach's east. This includes improving the traffic routing between the B448 and Mühlheimer Straße.

At a public event on October 6, the urban planning department informed citizens about the connection linked to the "Masterplan Offenbach am Main 2030".

A brochure looks at the 10 key projects of the master plan and shows what has already been done: Many of the short and medium-term measures have already been implemented or are being planned.

More than 160 interested parties accepted the invitation to the exchange on November 7, where they gathered information and gave their suggestions to those responsible.

Quo vadis Offenbach? As part of the master plan process, development opportunities and framework conditions for urban development were identified.
