Other property owners who have been waiting for their plots in Bieber-Nord to be developed can now submit their building applications to the city. The most recent additions are plots on Adam-Marsch-Straße. This means that large parts of the new development area can now be built on. "As soon as the development of the remaining building area has been completed and building applications can be submitted for it, we will inform you immediately on the municipal website and in the press," explains Simon Valerius, Head of Urban Planning, Transport and Construction Management.
For all questions relating to building applications or notifications in accordance with Section 64 of the Hessian Building Regulations, the building office in the town hall is available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:30 am to 12 noon and on Thursdays from 2 pm to 4 pm. Informative leaflets on building applications and preliminary building inquiries are available on the Internet at www.offenbach.de. Possible subsidies from the state are listed at www.offenbach.de/wohnbaufoerderung.
Temporary construction roads have been completed for Adam-Marsch-Straße, Philipp-Ullrich-Straße, the residential streets and Willi-Bauer-Straße. The construction of the square in front of the S-Bahn station is to be completed with the expansion of the park and green areas. Sidewalks and parking spaces in the area of Adam-Marsch-Straße and Philipp-Ullrich-Straße have also been completed on one side. The construction roads have been opened to traffic. The final construction of the surfaces is not expected until 2022 at the earliest, once the development has progressed accordingly.
The noise barriers are currently being erected. Work on the green corridor is expected to begin in 2020. A total of three noise barriers will be built. The noise barrier towards the B 448 was completed in August 2019. The noise barrier on the Dietesheimer Straße bridge is currently being built. The construction of the noise barrier towards the S-Bahn will follow. A ZWO water pipe is currently being relocated here before construction work on the noise barrier can begin.
In 2020, an elementary school with six classroom modules will be set up in Bieber-Nord as an interim solution until the planned three-form elementary school with two gyms and a daycare center with six groups for children aged 0 to 6 is completed.
