More than 100 tours and offers
20.04.2022
The city of Offenbach offers over 100 different tours. The tours allow you to get to know the city or the surrounding area.
Some tours can be completed on foot, others by bike or by bus or train. Some tours also include food.
One tour, for example, is the so-called New Citizens' Tour. People who have only lived in Offenbach for a short time get to know the city together with Lord Mayor Dr. Felix Schwenke.
People who have lived in Offenbach for some time are also welcome to take part. The tour leads through the city districts and new development areas. This tour is free of charge.
There are two dates for the new citizen tour this year: July 16 and October 15. You must register in advance at the Office for Public Relations, by telephone on 069 8065-2846 or by e-mail to infooffenbachde.
There are also lectures and workshops in the weather and climate workshop in the city center. These include, for example, a program for children from the age of 4.
The children learn more about the weather and can also try out lots of things. They make clouds, for example. The program takes place on the first Saturday of every month between 12 and 4 pm.
The offer is free and there is no need to register. Free lectures are also offered for adults.
There are also tours through Offenbach that focus on history. These include places such as Kaiserstraße, the new harbor district, Mathildenviertel and Wilhelmsplatz. The adult education center also has various offers, for example walks on specific topics or trips to the surrounding area.
The museums in Offenbach also offer lectures, guided tours and workshops. These include the Leather Museum, Klingspor Museum and House of City History.
All tours are listed in a flyer. The flyer is available at the Infocenter in Salzgässchen 1, at the visitor center in the Wetterpark Am Wetterpark 15, in the town hall and in the town hall at Berliner Straße 100.
