Offenbacher Tafel needs donations

If people in Germany cannot buy enough food, they can get it from certain places. These places are called "Tafel". There is also a food bank in Offenbach. The people who work at the Offenbacher Tafel say: "There are often fewer donations in the spring. That is also the case this year. Because of the current crises, many people are worried and less willing to donate. But the crises are also the reason why more people than usual need support, especially now.

One example of a donation is shopping vouchers. These vouchers can be bought in supermarkets. You can hand in the voucher directly at the Tafel. The Tafel is open at these times Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Neusalzerstraße 77, Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Krafftstraße 21. You can also make an appointment to hand in the voucher.
