Project "Parents empower their children"

The Offenbach Adult Education Center informs parents about school and education in many languages. There is a project for this purpose. The project is called "Parent-oriented educational work - parents strengthen their children".

Many people with a migration background want to find a good school and a good education for their children.

Some parents do not speak German very well. Sometimes they do not understand the information given by the teacher. The Volkshochschule Offenbach helps these parents. The Volkshochschule Offenbach offers events and information in: Arabic, Bulgarian, Greek, Polish, Romanian,
Russian, Turkish, Urdu and German.

You can also go to the parents' café if you need information about kindergarten and school. At the parents' café, you can talk about topics from kindergarten, elementary school, grammar school, comprehensive school and special school. You talk to other parents and an expert. You can ask questions and exchange ideas.

The parents' café takes place at the adult education center. The offer is free of charge.
