Less aircraft noise in Offenbach - new procedure undergoing further testing

Many planes land at Frankfurt Airport and many planes take off from the airport.

Aircraft noise should be reduced here.

For this reason, aircraft should no longer fly directly over such residential areas.

This is a new procedure called "segmented approach".

Tests have been underway for a year to see whether the new procedure works.
