The social welfare office is easier to reach
13.04.2024
The Social Welfare Office is an office of the City of Offenbach. The Social Welfare Office helps people who have little money. And people who cannot work. Employees advise people on what support they can get.
The Social Welfare Office has a "Central Advice and Service Point (ZeBuSS)". ZeBuSS accepts applications and organizes appointments. It is the first place to get help.
The ZeBuSS is now easier to reach. The new feature is that you can go directly to ZeBuSS and speak to the staff in person. Anyone who does not yet have a contact person at the social welfare office can come to the social welfare office on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 12 noon. The staff will also help you fill out an initial application.
You can also call the ZeBuSS: Monday to Thursday from 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 3pm and on Friday from 9am to 12pm. The telephone number is 069 8065 3584 or 069 8065 2686.
If you already have a personal contact person at the social welfare office, you can call them Monday to Friday from 10 am to 12 noon.
There is also the option of doing a lot of things digitally. On the website www.offenbach.de/sozialamt you can fill out a contact form, submit an application and much more. It is also possible to send an e-mail or a letter to the social welfare office. The e-mail is: sozialamtoffenbachde.
The address is: Sozialamt, Stadthaus, Berliner Straße 60, 63065 Offenbach.
Documents should only be sent to the Social Welfare Office as copies. Keep the originals at home.
Martin Wilhelm is a politician from the city of Offenbach. He says: "Many older people do not want to submit an application digitally. They prefer to speak to the social welfare office in person. Now all citizens have many options for contacting the social welfare office.
