Festivals and celebrations in Offenbach

There are many festivals in Offenbach in summer and fall. When the weather is nice, people like to get together and be outdoors. Here are some tips for the coming months.
On July 6, there will be a street theater festival in the city center. At Stadthof, Aliceplatz and Frankfurter Straße, theater groups from different countries will be putting on performances. The festival is for the whole family and is free of charge.
At the Festival of Lights in Büsingpark on August 10, clubs from Offenbach will be setting up lots of candles. The symphony orchestra from the Capitol plays a concert. The festival starts at 7 pm, the concert at 8 pm. Admission to the festival of lights costs money.
The Main Matsuri Japan Festival is a Japanese summer festival in Büsingpark. From August 16 to 18, you can discover Japanese culture. You have to buy tickets for the Japan Festival.
There is a big family festival in the Wetterpark on September 1. Children can discover a lot at the festival. The Weather Park team will be offering free guided tours for the whole family and experiments on the subject of weather and climate.
Artists will be showing their art on Wilhelmsplatz at the artists' market on September 1. For example, paintings, photos, metal art or bags. The Youth Art School is putting on an interesting program for children.
If it's hot, you can go to the swimming pool. Or come to the water games on Aliceplatz from September 6 to 17.
People from many different countries live in Offenbach. You can get to know the different cultures and nations at two festivals.
At the Cultural Festival of Nations on September 14 and 15 on Wilhelmsplatz - with food from different countries and traditional dances and music.
And at the Inter-cultural Weeks from September 17 to October 4. The word Inter means between. And culture is how people live. Many clubs and organizations are taking part in the Inter-cultural Weeks.
