Action week on the subject of heat

A special week on the subject of heat is taking place in Offenbach in August. It is being jointly organized by the city of Offenbach's neighbourhood management teams. A neighborhood management team looks after a city district. The employees want the people in their neighborhood to be well. They talk to the residents and help with problems. And they run projects to make life in the neighborhood nicer and better. In Offenbach, there is neighborhood management in four city districts: in the Mathilden district, in Nordend, in Lauterborn and in the Senefelder district.

The heat week will take place from August 11 to 14. The motto is "Holidays on ice". Holidays is the English word for vacation. Translated, the motto means "Holidays on ice". Over four days, people can experience a lot in the four districts. They will learn how best to protect themselves in the heat.

For example, visitors can refresh themselves at a water bar. There is also the opportunity to sew airy clothing or sun hats. The Löwen pharmacy and the dm drugstore will be providing sun protection products. The environmental office presents a map of cool places in Offenbach. There are many more offers. The events take place here: On August 11 from 2 p.m. on Goetheplatz in Nordend. On August 12 from 12.30 p.m. in the Senefelder-Quartier district office. On August 13 from 10 a.m. in front of the Lauterborn district office. And on August 14 from 2 p.m. on Mathildenplatz in the Mathildenviertel.
