More career opportunities for young people
16.08.2025
The "QuB" project has been running in Offenbach for a year now. This is the abbreviation for: Qualification and Employment. The project is organized by the city in the area of "school-to-work transition management".
The offer is for young people who are new to Germany. They learn German together and discover different professions. The aim is for the young people to find out what they are good at and what they would like to do later.
The project has been successful so far: many young people have improved their German and found a job that suits them. Some have even started an apprenticeship, for example as a nursery school teacher or baker.
The second year of the QuB project is now starting. The aim is to expand the program even further. Even more companies are to be involved as partners so that the young people can get to know other professional fields. German lessons will also be improved, as good language skills are very important in order to get an apprenticeship.
New participants are welcome. Young people between the ages of 16 and 27 can take part. If you are interested, please contact Franziska Breitbach. Either by e-mailfranziska.breitbachoffenbachde or telephone (069 8065 4375).
