City of Offenbach

An app for Offenbach

21.02.2026

The city of Offenbach has its own app. An app is a computer program for cell phones. You can find many of the city's services via the app. For example, you can click on Citizens' Services to see all the online services of the city and municipal utilities. You can book an appointment at the citizens' office online. Or order a certificate, apply for or extend a residence permit. Many people like the idea of being able to do this from home.

The Lord Mayor of Offenbach says: "We want to use the app to make it easier to reach citizens. Anyone who wants to can use the online services. But nobody has to use them. You can still call or go to the citizens' office and town hall.

The app also contains the latest news from the city. These are the same as those on the website www.offenbach.de. The app also shows the city of Offenbach's calendar of events. This includes various festivals, concerts and markets. You can also access the defect report. This is a program that can be used to report illegal waste or broken sidewalks and roads.

If you have the app on your cell phone, you will also be notified in the event of an emergency. For example, in the event of a major power cut or fire. You then receive information about this and where you can call.

The app is available in German, English, Turkish, French, Bulgarian and Romanian. Soon there will be even more languages. It is free and can be downloaded from the app stores.
