The city of Offenbach has joined the inter-municipal cooperation "Digitale Kommune@Hessen", which was founded at the beginning of last year by the cities of Marburg, Giessen, Wetzlar, Limburg and Fulda. A joint exchange is particularly fruitful in the context of digitalization and the Online Access Act (OZG), as the cities benefit directly from the experiences and developments of the others. Together, the six cities can also apply for funding from the Hessian state government.
Lord Mayor Dr. Felix Schwenke is delighted about joining and says:" One of the aims of the cooperation is to gain funding. By working together, our cities can also join forces to be ready for the demands of the municipality of the future."
