Martina Zimmermann began her career as a civil servant with the City of Offenbach in 1978 at the age of 16. After her training, she started in 1981 in what was then the central residents' register, which has been a cornerstone of the Offenbach Citizens' Office for 25 years. At the end of the year, after more than 47 years, she will take her well-deserved retirement and has now been bid farewell.

Martina Zimmermann is a face and a voice that is familiar to many Offenbach residents. As a customer advisor, she dealt with a wide range of customer concerns for decades, most recently she was often the voice on the phone at the Citizens' Office.

"With Martina Zimmermann, we are losing an experienced and warm-hearted employee and colleague who has somehow always been part of us and the Citizens' Office," says her office manager Martina Fuchs.

She has always enjoyed her work and calls her colleagues almost her second family. Martina Zimmermann is retiring after a long career. She is looking forward to spending time with her family, reading, traveling and hiking, and to going about her day at her own pace. The city would like to thank her for her loyalty and commitment to the good of the city of Offenbach.
