Quick help in urgent cases

Home emergency call systems offer older people more security around the clock in their own four walls. Pressing the button on the radio transmitter, which is worn on a strap on the wrist or around the neck, activates the home emergency call device connected to the telephone socket. A direct connection is immediately established to the permanently manned emergency call center. The staff at the emergency call center immediately arrange for the necessary help from relatives, neighbors, doctors or emergency services.

A home emergency call is not only suitable for people living alone. Family members who care for a relative in need of care also benefit from the security of knowing that the person in need of help can call for assistance at any time, even when they are away.

The home emergency call is a care aid that is exempt from co-payment within the framework of long-term care insurance and the costs of using a home emergency call device are often reimbursed in full or in part by the long-term care insurance fund, provided there is a need for care and assistance within the meaning of the Long-Term Care Insurance Act.

If you have any further questions, you can contact your care insurance fund, the home emergency call provider or the care support center of the city of Offenbach.
