Care facilities offer comprehensive care
In residential care facilities, people in need of assistance and care receive comprehensive nursing and domestic care and support if this can no longer be adequately provided at home. The single or double rooms are usually equipped with a nursing bed and a nursing bedside table. The room can often also be individually and comfortably furnished with your own furniture.
The long-term care insurance fund pays a flat-rate benefit in kind for full inpatient care in a nursing home, the amount of which depends on the respective care level. However, this benefit in kind only covers part of the costs.
Under certain conditions, the additional costs for accommodation, meals and operational investment costs are covered by the social welfare provider.
