FzOF informs: Visible Committed City of Offenbach

28.04.2023 – Offenbach has been part of the nationwide Engagierte Stadt network since 2020. The Volunteer Center, the city's volunteer officer and the Nordend and Senefelder Quartier neighbourhood management teams coordinate projects and campaigns. The common goal is to promote volunteering in the city.

The peephole in the sticker at the Laier coffee roastery can be used to find out about the latest information from Engagierte Stadt.

As a committed company, the Laier coffee roastery on Wilhelmsplatz has made one of the shop windows available to make the campaigns of the Committed City of Offenbach more visible. A large-scale sticker enables passers-by to find out more about current offers or to scan a code directly to the website.

Wheelmap walk on May 5

The next Engagierte Stadt campaign is a short-term commitment: on Friday, May 5, interested people will meet at 4 p.m. in the Senefelder neighborhood office (Hermannstraße 16) to use the Wheelmap app to check accessibility in the neighborhood. Participants will be given an introduction to how the app works. They will then explore the neighborhood together. Further activities will follow.
