Visible Committed City of Offenbach with peep window

11.11.2024

The peephole in the sticker can be used to find out about current information on the Engagierte Stadt and other volunteer projects. from left to right: Karin Zein (Neighborhood Management Nordend), Sigrid Jacob (Head of the Offenbach Volunteer Center), Jens Prößer (Board of Directors VR-Bank Offenbach-Dreieich eG), Manuel Dieter (Volunteer Representative City of Offenbach), Iris Jung (Regional Director VR Bank Dreieich-Offenbach eG)

VR-Bank Offenbach-Dreieich eG has made one of its shop windows available to its Bieber branch in Aschaffenburger Straße in order to make the activities of the Engagierte Stadt Offenbach more visible. A large-format sticker allows passers-by to find out more about current offers or scan a code to go directly to the website. "Responsibility for social commitment is firmly anchored in our corporate culture, which is why we are happy to support the Engagierte Stadt Offenbach campaigns," says Iris Jung from VR Bank.

The City of Offenbach's Volunteering Officer, Manuel Dieter, is delighted about this further opportunity to draw attention to the Engagierte Stadt Offenbach. There are similar stickers at the Laier coffee roastery on Wilhelmsplatz and at the dm drugstore on Marktplatz. "It is important to involve all parts of the city and Bieber in particular is a good example of commitment in the neighborhood," says Karin Zein-Schenk from Quartiersmanagement Nordend.

Offenbach has been part of the nationwide Engagierte Stadt (opens in a new tab) network since 2020. The Volunteer Center, the city's volunteer officer and the Nordend neighbourhood management team coordinate projects and campaigns. The common goal is to promote volunteering in the city.
