Individual approach and offers
In 2020, the long-established daycare center in the Bürgel district was rebuilt and bright, light-flooded rooms invite you to discover, play and feel good!
Our daycare center has a crèche and a kindergarten area. The crèche group works according to its own daily routine, which is tailored to the special needs of the youngest children. We accompany the transition from crèche to kindergarten individually for each child and organize it with the involvement of all children. Our outdoor area is special in its size and nature. The children enjoy a variety of natural play equipment, design their raised beds and find places to retreat to in small tents. The kindergarten works across all ages and is partially open. This means that the children have the opportunity to make friends from all groups between the ages of 3 and 6. The daycare children can move freely around the building at agreed times and look for independent play opportunities according to their interests. There are fixed group times in the regular groups during the day. These relate to the morning circle, mealtimes and the group day. A portfolio records each child's important experiences during the day.

This expands the children's choice and play options and opens up new areas of experimentation thanks to the variety of materials.
Regular offers
In our media room, the children have access to a wide range of books and new media (Toniebox, Samy the reading bear, storyboards, Telimero, etc.) on various topics, which they can use independently. Our attractive outdoor area offers a view of the natural diversity of the surrounding area. The entire daycare center is surrounded by meadows and fields, which enables children to experience nature in a variety of ways and which we make active use of. We also offer regular excursions into the surrounding area and the city of Offenbach.
The Brandenburger Straße daycare center (11) is one of the municipal daycare centers (EKO-Kita). The Eigenbetrieb Kindertagesstätten Offenbach (EKO) works according to the Hessian Education and Upbringing Plan (BEP) and an in-house concept, which reflects the self-image of the company and basic pedagogical attitudes. On this basis, our facilities design their own in-house concept, each with its own focus.
The EKO lives a prejudice-conscious, appreciative welcoming culture. Everyone is welcome here! We give every child individual educational and development opportunities and want to be a place where diversity and democracy are lived.
Our work is shaped in dialog with the children and their families. All employees take responsibility for an active educational partnership as well as for their own pedagogical work. Accordingly, qualification, further education and training in various areas is an essential part of our work.
