Introducing our daycare center

Individual approach and offers
Working in four core groups gives the children security and orientation through a clear daily structure and enables them to acquire social skills. We work with the children in a manageable amount of time on topics that are geared towards their life situations. As part of various projects, we work with the children to find answers and solutions.
In addition to language education, social interaction and value orientation are also an important part of our pedagogy. Where possible, movement activities are moved outdoors. There should be a balanced relationship between indoor and outdoor areas.
Regular offers
We enable children to experience nature on our premises, in the forest and neighboring play parks. We explore the surrounding area and the city (playgrounds, schools, stores).
Educational partnership
The partnership-based and trusting cooperation with the families takes place in the form of individual one-to-one discussions about the developmental status of their child. We also talk to families at joint parents' evenings, excursions and celebrations.
Familiarization
The acclimatization process is discussed with the families and is based on the individual needs of the child. There is a small family corner for families in the daycare center's relaxation rooms on the first floor as well as on the upper floor. There they can talk to each other.
The Goethestraße daycare center (15) is one of the municipal daycare centers (EKO-Kita). The Eigenbetrieb Kindertagesstätten Offenbach (EKO) works according to the Hessian Education and Upbringing Plan (BEP) and an in-house concept, which reflects the self-image of the company and basic pedagogical attitudes. On this basis, our facilities design their own in-house concept, each with its own focus.
The EKO lives a prejudice-conscious, appreciative welcoming culture. Everyone is welcome here! We give every child individual educational and development opportunities and want to be a place where diversity and democracy are lived.
Our work is shaped in dialog with the children and their families. All employees take responsibility for an active educational partnership as well as for their own pedagogical work. Accordingly, qualification, further education and training in various areas is an essential part of our work.
