"Everyone should be well here!"

Individual approach and offers

Our daycare center Johannes-Morhart-Straße (16) has a partially open structure with permanent educational staff responsible for each group. Regular interdisciplinary activities, such as forest excursions or reading activities in the public library, complete the diverse range of activities on offer, e.g. in the areas of movement, language, music and creativity. Our children's library is also available to the children.

All children belong to a fixed group. This allows them to experience themselves as part of a community and gives them the confidence to move independently and find their way around outside the group. We attach great importance to social interaction and the teaching of basic values. When discovering new and interesting things in their environment, the children are sensitively accompanied by the educational staff in their search for explanations and solutions. Based on the children's previous experiences, a dialogical process of joint reflection and exploration takes place.

At the end of their time at the daycare center, each child receives a portfolio that shows the child's important experiences and adventures.

Regular excursions

With different and varied excursions, the children get to know their immediate and wider environment and gain new experiences.

Familiarization

A good start to daycare is important to us. That is why we organize the settling-in period in consultation with the families and based on the individual needs of the child. During the settling-in period, families have the opportunity to exchange ideas and receive important information at a family café.

The Johannes-Morhart-Straße daycare center (16) is one of the municipal daycare centers (EKO-Kita). The Eigenbetrieb Kindertagesstätten Offenbach (EKO) works according to the Hessian Education and Upbringing Plan (BEP) and an in-house concept, which reflects the self-image of the company and basic pedagogical attitudes. On this basis, our facilities design their own in-house concept, each with its own focus.

The EKO lives a prejudice-conscious, appreciative welcoming culture. Everyone is welcome here! We give every child individual educational and development opportunities and want to be a place where diversity and democracy are lived.

Our work is shaped in dialog with the children and their families. All employees take responsibility for an active educational partnership as well as for their own pedagogical work. Accordingly, qualification, further education and training in various areas is an essential part of our work.
