Introducing our daycare center

Individual approach and offers
Our facility looks after the children mainly in groups on a total of 3 floors. There are several groups of children on each floor:
- 3 crèche groups on the first floor, 1 kindergarten group
- 3 kindergarten groups on the 1st floor and
- 3 kindergarten groups on the 2nd floor
We attach great importance to seeing the children as individual and special personalities and encouraging and challenging them accordingly. For this reason, we constantly redesign the group rooms according to the needs and interests of the children. Each group also has an adjoining room, which is equipped differently (e.g. role-play and dressing-up room, relaxation and quiet room with music and audio games, construction rooms with different materials). The children also have the opportunity to move around the building across groups and floors. There are various play areas in the large corridors, such as a writing workshop, table football, lentil bath, light tables, etc.
The teaching of values and social interaction is a focal point of our pedagogy alongside the opportunities for experimenting and trying things out, playing and learning.
Regular offers
In our studio, the kindergarten children can be creative across all groups. They experiment to their heart's content, but are also guided through exciting activities. Each group has a variety of books on different topics. These are looked at, read and discussed together with the children and given to them to borrow. We record each child's time at the nursery in a portfolio.
The Kita am Klinikum (05) is one of the municipal daycare centers (EKO-Kita). The Eigenbetrieb Kindertagesstätten Offenbach (EKO) works according to the Hessian Education and Upbringing Plan (BEP) and an in-house concept, which reflects the self-image of the company and basic pedagogical attitudes. On this basis, our facilities design their own in-house concept, each with its own focus.
The EKO lives a prejudice-conscious, appreciative welcoming culture. Everyone is welcome here! We give every child individual educational and development opportunities and want to be a place where diversity and democracy are lived.
Our work is shaped in dialog with the children and their families. All employees take responsibility for an active educational partnership as well as for their own pedagogical work. Accordingly, qualification, further education and training in various areas is an essential part of our work.
