"The world in one house"

Individual approach and offers

The facility is partially open. The mixed-age core groups each have their own educational focus. In addition to their group rooms, the children also use the area for sensorimotor experiences, the building and construction room, the role-play room, the area for first experiences with mathematics, the activity room, the gym and the library.

The focus is on holistic support: language development, music, movement and social learning are firmly anchored in everyday life. Experiences and learning progress are documented in portfolios.

We offer intensive preparation of the "Maxis" (children in their last year of kindergarten) for elementary school.

Families are very welcome. Especially during the settling-in period, the spacious corridor area offers space for meeting and exchange.

With regular walks, excursions, gymnastics activities and a singing group, the facility offers a wide range of learning and experience opportunities. The team values an open, appreciative attitude and sees diversity as a strength.

This creates a lively place where children can develop, make friends and discover the world through play - right in the heart of Offenbach.

The Friedensstraße daycare center (01) is one of the municipal daycare centers (EKO-Kita). The Eigenbetrieb Kindertagesstätten Offenbach (EKO) works according to the Hessian Education and Upbringing Plan (BEP) and an in-house concept, which reflects the self-image of the company and basic pedagogical attitudes. On this basis, our facilities design their own in-house concept, each with its own focus.

The EKO lives a prejudice-conscious, appreciative welcoming culture. Everyone is welcome here! We give every child individual educational and development opportunities and want to be a place where diversity and democracy are lived.

Our work is shaped in dialog with the children and their families. All employees take responsibility for an active educational partnership as well as for their own pedagogical work. Accordingly, qualification, further education and training in various areas is an essential part of our work.
