Individual approach and offers

Our profile means: nature, music and art at first hand. We research and experiment according to the principle of discover - experience - observe - discuss. This extends from the crèche to the kindergarten and the after-school care center.

We work in reference groups as well as across groups. There are groups with a functional focus and functional rooms. We work in the outdoor area with sand, water, plant garden, meadow and old trees, in the nearby forest and go on a variety of excursions. Sports and exercise activities are also part of everyday life. We also allow children to experiment with roles and stories in theater projects.

Our children's library is available to everyone and is actively used in everyday educational activities. In addition to language education, social interaction and value orientation are also an important part of our pedagogy.

Two to three times a year, the children attend theater performances in the surrounding area or events are held at the daycare center. We collect each child's time at the daycare center in a portfolio, which records important experiences for each child during their time with us.

Family corner

There is a family corner for families where they can find up-to-date information and gain an insight into our educational work.

The daycare center Erich-Ollenhauer-Straße (10) is one of the municipal daycare centers (EKO-Kita). The Eigenbetrieb Kindertagesstätten Offenbach (EKO) works according to the Hessian Education and Upbringing Plan (BEP) and an in-house concept, which reflects the self-image of the company and basic pedagogical attitudes. On this basis, our facilities design their own in-house concept, each with its own focus.

The EKO lives a prejudice-conscious, appreciative welcoming culture. Everyone is welcome here! We give every child individual educational and development opportunities and want to be a place where diversity and democracy are lived.

Our work is shaped in dialog with the children and their families. All employees take responsibility for an active educational partnership as well as for their own pedagogical work. Accordingly, qualification, further education and training in various areas is an essential part of our work.
