Individual approach and offers

Our daycare center is a two-story building with an open wooden structure and flexible functional rooms. Together with the children's ideas and self-chosen worlds of experience, we create varied and balanced activities and projects in the daycare center on various topics such as movement, music, language and creativity.

Social interaction and value orientation are important areas that play a role and are supported throughout the day. There are plenty of opportunities for movement in the gym and, of course, in the outdoor area.

As an intercultural team, we look after children from families from 30 countries around the world in our groups.

Regular offers

We go on regular excursions in all weathers and explore the city and nature on foot or by bus and train. We create raised beds in the outdoor area and tend to shrubs, herbs and flowers. We also organize a variety of cultural excursions in the surrounding area and take the five to six-year-olds to a farm for three days once a year.

In the creative area, in the workshop and in the role-play area, the children have a wide range of varied materials at their disposal for imaginative self-design, experimentation and creative expression of their ideas. A wide range of music and dance activities and projects with drums, guitars and rhythm instruments take place throughout the year.

At the end of their time at the nursery, each child is allowed to take their portfolio with them, in which important experiences are depicted.

Familiarization

A good settling-in period is important and we provide individual support in consultation with the families. We provide families with an area where they can spend time and exchange ideas.

The Marienstraße daycare center (17) is one of the municipal daycare centers (EKO-Kita). The Eigenbetrieb Kindertagesstätten Offenbach (EKO) works according to the Hessian Education and Upbringing Plan (BEP) and an in-house concept, which reflects the self-image of the company and basic pedagogical attitudes. On this basis, our facilities design their own in-house concept, each with its own focus.

The EKO lives a prejudice-conscious, appreciative welcoming culture. Everyone is welcome here! We give every child individual educational and development opportunities and want to be a place where diversity and democracy are lived.

Our work is shaped in dialog with the children and their families. All employees take responsibility for an active educational partnership as well as for their own pedagogical work. Accordingly, qualification, further education and training in various areas is an essential part of our work.
