"We invite you, because it's better together !"
Individual approach and offers
Through the concept of partially open work, we offer the children the opportunity to have stable bonding experiences within their peer group. However, we also offer them the opportunity to take part in activities that take place outside their own peer group as part of open time.
It is important to us to teach the children essential basic values and to support their social interaction. We also attach great importance to this during the individual acclimatization process for each child. The range of learning impulses and activities depends on the children's needs and is extended beyond the daycare center by excursions, walks or visits to the playground and theater.
Here, the children can
- build, construct and work
- experience movement construction sites and movement activities, both in the gym and outside
- be creative and experimental
- play theater and role-playing games
- make music and dance
- discover the world of books and language
- learn that games are played according to rules and that winning and losing are part of the game
Family work
We present our day-to-day educational activities to families in a clear way, both in discussions and on notice boards. In the family corner, families can talk to each other and also get into conversation with the specialist staff.
Special features
We carry out regular preschool projects that provide learning stimuli. We pay particular attention to supporting and encouraging the children's language skills. We regularly reflect on and further develop the topic of language education. There is a children's library in our daycare center, which is actively used by everyone. At the end of their time at the daycare center, each child receives a portfolio in which they can record important experiences and adventures.
The Landgrafenstraße daycare center (19) is one of the municipal daycare centers (EKO-Kita). The Eigenbetrieb Kindertagesstätten Offenbach (EKO) works according to the Hessian Education and Upbringing Plan (BEP) and an in-house concept, which reflects the self-image of the company and basic pedagogical attitudes. On this basis, our facilities design their own in-house concept, each with its own focus.
The EKO lives a prejudice-conscious, appreciative welcoming culture. Everyone is welcome here! We give every child individual educational and development opportunities and want to be a place where diversity and democracy are lived.
Our work is shaped in dialog with the children and their families. All employees take responsibility for an active educational partnership as well as for their own pedagogical work. Accordingly, qualification, further education and training in various areas is an essential part of our work.
