EKO daycare centers launch their own Instagram and Facebook channels

The Eigenbetrieb Kindertagesstätten Offenbach (EKO) has launched its own social media channels on Instagram and Facebook:

In the form of pictures or videos, the EKO publishes content on the following areas:

• Everyday life at the daycare center: Seasons and cultural holidays, offers for the children and longer projects, instructions for creative design, excursions
• Our pedagogy: information on concepts, structures, care areas
• Attitude and structure: How do the daycare centers work? What makes the EKO special? How do we look after the children? How do we organize family work?
• Facts and figures: Developments in daycare centers and childcare areas, framework conditions for the work of educational professionals

In recent years, the EKO has used the channels of the City of Offenbach for its social media contributions. In the meantime, however, the content has increased significantly and at the same time has such a unique target group that separate channels are a good idea. In this way, families with young children and professionals who work or would like to work in an EKO daycare center can now be reached in a more targeted manner.

The EKO daycare centers are Offenbach's municipal daycare centers. There are 29 of them spread across the city, in which the company offers a total of around 4,000 childcare places from crèche to school childcare.
