On October 27, 2025, Silvia Meyer was honored for her 40th anniversary of service by Mayor Sabine Groß and Annika Ilić, the pedagogical department head responsible for the daycare center. Mayor Sabine Groß personally presented the certificate to Silvia Meyer: "On behalf of the city, I would like to thank you for 40 years of dedicated work at the City of Offenbach. Since 1991, you have been an indispensable part of the daycare center at the clinic and have accompanied and shaped generations of children. Your many years of service show that the EKO is not only a reliable and appreciative place for the children, but also as an employer."

In August 1984, Silvia Meyer completed her one-year internship at the Evangelische Markusgemeinde Offenbach. She was then employed by the city for 5 years from October 1986. She began working as a childcare assistant at the Offenbach Municipal Clinics in 1991. In 2009, this facility was then taken over by the Eigenbetrieb Kindertagesstätten Offenbach (EKO) and Silvia Meyer also moved to the new provider. From then on, the daycare center was called Kita am Klinikum (05). Silvia Meyer still works there today and celebrated her 40th anniversary in public service on October 1, 2025.

The EKO would like to congratulate Silvia Meyer on her anniversary and thank her for her loyalty to the company and her professional commitment to the EKO over the last 40 years.
