Facts about immigration in Germany - in a nutshell

The Expert Council on Integration and Migration (SVR) presents updated "Facts on Immigration in Germany". The compact fact sheet provides verified information on the composition of the population, current immigration movements including labor migration and asylum, as well as the qualifications and employment of immigrants. With the updated version, the SVR provides reliable orientation in an increasingly polarized migration policy debate.

The Expert Council on Integration and Migration is an independent, interdisciplinary scientific policy advisory body. Nine scientists from different disciplines work together to support political decision-making and public debate with expert opinions and analyses.
