New umbrella organization for migrant organizations founded

On 13 December 2025, the Dachverband Migrantenorganisationen Hessen (DaMOH) was officially founded in Frankfurt to give Hessian migrant organizations a common voice at state level and to represent their concerns more strongly in society and politics. A total of 40 migrant organizations are already part of the association, which is open to further memberships. The development of the umbrella organization is the result of a long-term networking process that has included annual meetings since 2018 as well as support from the Competence Center for Diversity Hesse and the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs. The association sees itself as a link between migrant organizations, politics and civil society, with the aim of bundling common interests and strengthening the political participation of people with migration experience in Hesse.
