The children have waited a long time. The construction work on the playground between Obere Grenzstraße and Scheffelstraße was completed in December 2024. Only the grass still had to grow to be able to play there without restrictions. Due to the cool spring, this took a little longer than originally planned. In recent weeks, there have been more and more requests for the opening date and now the time has finally come.
The lawn has now been removed and the construction fence around the playground will be taken down shortly.
The City of Offenbach wishes all children lots of fun on the new 500 square meter facility with a wide range of games, additional seating and many new flowering shrubs and trees.
