Inclusion in Offenbach
The initiative for the broad implementation and comprehensive safeguarding of "inclusion" goes back to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD). Over 160 countries have signed up to this convention to date. The signatory states have thus committed themselves to drawing up plans for the participation of people with disabilities and to continuously monitoring and updating these plans.
Messages
Inclusion has also become an important issue for local authorities. Ultimately, local conditions determine whether inclusion is successful. This brings the quality of social services, the consideration of the needs of disabled people in the design of public spaces and the involvement of disabled people in local political opinion-forming into focus.

Announcement of events
In order to support the further realization of inclusion in all areas of life, the city relies on accompanying measures such as high-profile events.
In Offenbach, the Network for Inclusion brings together committed associations, parents, pupils, the Education and Science Trade Union and political parties to fight together for an inclusive education system. Our aim is to ensure high-quality and successful inclusion through broad-based platforms for exchange and cooperation. The network is open to anyone who wants to get involved in order to strengthen the diversity of our city. With regular events and a municipal action plan, we create awareness and sustainable structures for the participation of all citizens of Offenbach - regardless of origin or social status.

The ZeBuSS can be reached by telephone on Mondays to Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on 069 8065 3584.
