Offenbach Music School

Personal contacts, inquiries, consultations and registrations, work shadowing and trial lessons are gladly arranged and accepted. Appointments are also possible by appointment. The school offers a varied and highly qualified musical education, teaches all musical subjects and styles and cooperates in many ways with other cultural and educational institutions. In accordance with the objectives of the VdM (Association of German Music Schools), those responsible at the Offenbach Music School focus on a contemporary perception of music education work. In particular, the work with children and young people should make a noticeable contribution to the realization of equal opportunities. In addition, the bringing together of generations, the integration of marginalized and disadvantaged groups and the peaceful and constructive coexistence of the many nationalities living in Offenbach are of great importance.

The lessons offered by the Offenbach am Main e.V. music school can be formally divided into

• Elementary musical subjects
  
  Music for mice (for children aged one and a half to three years),
  Early musical education (for children between the ages of 4 and 6),
  Basic musical training (primary school pupils in years 1 and 2)
  
  
• Instrumental and vocal main subjects
  Woodwind instruments (recorder, flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon), brass instruments (trumpet, trombone, tenor horn, horn and tuba), string instruments (violin, viola, cello, double bass), plucked instruments (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, e-guitar, e-bass), string instruments (violin, viola, cello, double bass). Guitar, electric guitar, electric bass), keyboard instruments (piano, accordion, electric organ, keyboard), percussion instruments (all rhythm and melody instruments from the percussion area), singing (voice training and solo singing)
  
  
• Ensemble and supplementary subjects
  
  Choir, orchestra, recorder, woodwind, saxophone, guitar and percussion ensembles, big band, rock/pop band, chamber music and much more, as well as projects, workshops and theory courses. All ensemble and supplementary subjects are also open to guest participants.

The results of the lessons are regularly presented internally (class concerts, parents' evenings and student recitals) as well as publicly at numerous concerts at the music school and at performances and participations at various events.
