Promotion of cultural associations
Offenbach's cultural diversity thrives on the interaction between the city's institutions and the many other cultural players. Associations and initiatives play a key role in shaping the city's cultural offerings. The City of Offenbach am Main would therefore like to support the work of cultural associations. Priority is given to supporting the development of innovative and sustainable cultural projects and investments in cultural work within the framework of civic engagement.
The next funding round starts on March 1, 2026.
Please note the following points:
- Only projects (performances, exhibitions, readings, publications, cultural mediation, etc.) that have been or will be carried out in Offenbach during the respective application period are eligible for funding.
- Summer excursions or similar events of this kind are not eligible for funding.
- However, structural investments or purchases of musical instruments and costumes are also eligible for funding, insofar as these are necessary for the continuation of the association's activities.
- If there are advertising materials for the funded projects, the city logo must be printed on them. Evidence from the previous year must be submitted at the same time as the application (preferably by e-mail only). Without the proof from the previous year, the new funding will not be paid out. This must include the following documents:
