Clubs and sponsors are supporting the Festival of Lights in Büsingpark

Preparations for the Festival of Lights on August 8 are in full swing, and advance ticket sales are entering their final week. If you want to avoid lines at the box office, you should head to the OF-InfoCenter on Salzgässchen now to pick up a wristband for the park or tickets for the concert. Advance ticket sales at the Salzgässchen will only be open on Thursday (August 6, 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.) and Friday (August 7, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.). With the admission wristbands purchased there, visitors can go directly to the main entrance at the Lesegarten and even use the side entrance on Kaiserstrasse (admission there is only permitted with pre-purchased wristbands). Anyone who purchases tickets online via Frankfurt-Ticket must exchange them for a wristband at the box office in the Lesegarten. For people with limited mobility, there is a separate accessible entrance with a ticket booth on Berliner Straße (near the Sheraton Hotel).

To ensure that Büsingpark can once again welcome up to 8,000 people in a festive atmosphere, we need the hard work of many volunteers from Offenbach’s community organizations. Sponsors are also supporting the community festival: On Wednesday, July 29, Mayor Dr. Felix Schwenke thanked representatives from Sparkasse Offenbach, Energieversorgung Offenbach, and Stadtwerke Offenbach Holding for their financial support of the community festival.

Thanks also go to the volunteers from the Waldheim Volunteer Fire Department, the Offenbach Technical Relief Agency, and the Arbeiter Samariter Bund, who are actively involved in organizing the festival as members of the security team.
