The municipal museums Haus der Stadtgeschichte and Klingspor Museum have expanded their web stores. In addition to catalogs and publications, tickets for events can now also be purchased online. The Haus der Stadtgeschichte also offers annual tickets for sale online. "Not only Offenbach residents, but also many people interested in culture from all over the region visit the two museums. The event tickets and annual tickets for the Haus der Stadtgeschichte can now be easily purchased online by all visitors," says Lord Mayor Dr. Felix Schwenke, pleased with the new offer.
The web stores with the publications can be accessed with one click via the home pages of the respective websites www.haus-der-stadtgeschichte.de and www.klingspormuseum.de. The annual tickets from the Haus der Stadtgeschichte can be ordered and paid for online in the Service section. "We send the annual ticket to visitors by post. It is valid for one year from the day of issue," explains Nils Ahlgrimm, who manages the Haus der Stadtgeschichte webshop. "We offer an annual ticket for admission to the museum or the Premium annual ticket, with the latter you can also attend all events at our museum." It is now also possible to purchase tickets online for many lectures and guided tours. Interested parties can purchase online tickets via the respective lecture or guided tour page. All events can be accessed with one click via the museum's homepage.
"We have already taken a big step towards digitization this year by digitizing our written archive," explains Dr. Dorothee Ader, Director of the Klingspor Museum. "With online ticket sales, we are continuing the digitization process, so to speak. We are initially offering the new function for workshops, for example for the creative course 'My Travel Book' on April 30. If we see that it goes well, we want to extend ticket sales to guided tours as well." Visitors can see whether a workshop can be booked and paid for online on the respective workshop page, which is displayed under the program menu item and directly on the homepage.
