Instructions for replicating a tornado adapter
Here you will find instructions on how to build the tornado adapter for the "bottle tornado" experiment yourself.
What you need:
- Superglue(the glue must be able to stick to plastic)
- Drill or a thick nail and candle
- pliers
Instructions:
- Unscrew the lids from the two bottles.
- Glue them together at the top with plenty of glue and leave to dry overnight.
- Have an adult drill a hole through the middle of both lids. The diameter of the hole should be about 8 millimeters.
- You can either use a thick nail, which you can have your parents heat in the flame of a candle and press firmly through the lids.
- Or you can have your parents drill through the lids with a drill.
Make sure you get help from an adult!
