Theaterclub Elmar e.V.
The ELMAR theater club was founded in 1911 and received the "Kulturpreis 2010" from the city of Offenbach on its 100th birthday in 2011. During this long period, it has produced over 250 plays for adults, mostly comedies and farces, more than 55 Christmas tales and numerous plays for children and young people.
The ELMARIANER are amateur actors who are passionate, committed and successful theater performers. Over the years, the theater club has developed into a cultural institution in Offenbach and sees it as an important task to promote the next generation of actors.
At Theaterclub ELMAR e.V., everything is homemade. Around 100 members work in front of and behind the scenes on a voluntary basis: As actors, set builders, prompters, directors, costume designers, make-up artists, technicians or supervisors of the club's work with children and young people.
