Offenbach's "living room"
Workshop of the Offenbach Youth Art School
With its weekly market, various cafés and restaurants, Wilhelmsplatz is Offenbach's "living room", so to speak. This is where you meet many people you know and talk to. It wasn't always like this: the square was originally a cemetery, then served as a meeting place and later as a parking lot. In the workshop, we would like to shed light on the background to the square and consider how we would design a square. To do this, we will draw our ideas, build models and design the square in a variety of ways. In this way, we will add our stories to the history of Wilhelmsplatz.
Date: Sat, 08.10. from 14.00-18.00 and Sun, 9.10. from 11.00-17.00.
Meeting point: Wilhelmsplatz, Steichholzkarlchen
Direction: Michaela Haas, David Brose
