The exhibition "Flowing Landscapes" at the KUNSTANSICHTEN 2026

In Marilena Faraci's new works, she has incorporated a flowing element: Color not only as a surface, but as movement and dynamics. Some of them show landscapes, but some are movements within us - in our inner landscapes. It is an attempt to capture spontaneous memories, feelings and states - partly random, partly deliberately set compositions that symbolize certain themes.

Faraci works with a fixed constant, oil paint, which she combines with other materials, and experiments with different painting grounds. Mixing painting mediums and surfaces - canvas, paper or wrapping paper - opens up a wealth of creative possibilities that particularly fascinate her. The use of delicate or bold lines with charcoal or pencil creates accents and contrasts and gives her paintings the dynamism that is present in every moment.

Marilena Faraci
Marilena Faraci, born in 1963 in Padua, Italy, has lived in Germany since 1971 and studied art and psychology in Frankfurt am Main. I have been exhibiting my work in solo and group exhibitions in Germany and abroad since 2007. In my abstract works I deal with various life themes, which find their expression in a mostly formless design, the leitmotifs are different, through colors, shapes, structure and lines, a creative implementation takes place.
