In her collages, Renata Kos takes up animal and plant worlds, landscapes and creatures. In her imagery, the desire for a place of longing becomes clear, a place that is created as one wishes it to be.
It is the merging of background and foreground in which the individual motifs come together to form a rhythm and a certain vibration. Movement, alchemy, transformation, pictorial frequency and flowing rhythm are concepts that are intrinsically significant in Kos' work. In this way, different motifs repeatedly create dissolutions, condensations and free spaces in individual steps and layers.
