The exhibition "Content Inflation" at the KUNSTANSICHTEN 2026

Zacharias Faßhauer & Paul Pape

"Content Inflation" is a sound installation with moving volumes. In it, air and acoustic condensations meet with particular intensity.

On display are inflated metal cushions with stretched surfaces. They look like breathing bodies - pulsating, expanding and contracting again. Acoustic soundscapes emerge from their interior. The cushions become resonating spaces in which sound and movement are in a state of permanent tension.

Paul Pape

lives and works in Offenbach am Main. He studied at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach am Main and graduated with a diploma in stage design and a diploma with Juliane Rebentisch (philosophy and aesthetics). His artistic practice operates at the interface of photography, sculpture, performance and music. In his work, he explores the body, material and sound as carriers of tension, repetition and inscription. Projects such as Tanzkamera, RIFF, Dust or Tension combine analog photography, experimental instrument making and spatial staging to create interdisciplinary experimental arrangements. As an artist, he works with ensembles and institutions in Frankfurt, Cologne and beyond. Pape is a member of Atelier Wäscherei Offenbach, where he continuously develops installative and performative formats.
