Marc Simon
born on a sunny Sunday in August 1960, had his first studio in London in 1979. At the beginning of the 1980s, he had the opportunity to learn how to produce and process vegetable and mineral paints according to medieval recipes from the English surrealist painter brain dunes. Extensive studies and experiments on the Canary Islands also influenced his color palette.
In 1981 he founded the artist group >Junkchild<, whose art projects were intended to help young prostitutes find a way out of life on the streets.
1981 - 83 Marc Simon worked as a lecturer at the Macintosh School of Art in London.
In 2001, Marc Simon co-founded the international artists' group ARSEEN. In 2002, he realized his major art and music project ANIMA CARA, which was a great success with the public and the press.
In 2006, he presented his largest exhibition to date at the Commerzbank headquarters in Frankfurt with large-format paintings.
Marc Simon works internationally as an artist.
He has shown exhibitions in London, New York, Frankfurt and many other cities with famous and less famous names.
