The exhibition "Graffiti action at Mathildenplatz" at the KUNSTANSICHTEN 2026

For the duration of Offenbacher Kunstansichten 2026, artists Yannick Brenden and Michael Jäger will be designing a total of three surfaces of a triangle of construction fencing installed on Mathildenplatz, which will serve as a canvas.

Both studied at the Offenbach University of Art and Design and are known for their large-scale graffiti paintings, among other things. They have been working around Mathildenplatz for years to establish it as a place of encounter and togetherness. They are continuously supported by the Mathildenviertel district management.

Last summer, a triangle of construction fencing was made available at Mathildenplatz, which is used as an experimental design area to make art visible in public spaces and as a constantly changing area for graffiti and painting.

For this year's Offenbacher Kunstansichten, Brenden and Jäger will develop a motif that deals with places of coexistence in Offenbach.

The graffiti work will be on display on Mathildenplatz throughout the summer.
