The best impressions of the Festival of Lights 2025

Summer weather, thousands of lights twinkling like the stars in the sky and the Capitol Symphony Orchestra: the Festival of Lights 2025 was a very special evening. "Star Symphony" was the name of the program on 9 August in Büsingpark and transported visitors to heavenly spheres in a lively crossover through music history. With Gustav Holst, the musicians of the orchestra took the audience on a journey to Jupiter and Mars. The audience traveled with "Astronaut" by Andreas Bourani and "Major Tom" by Tom Schilling. The Offenbach science fiction costume group Cantina Clan made an impressive appearance in front of the stage with excerpts from "Star Wars".
