Festival of Lights 2026

When 30,000 lights sparkle alongside the stars in the sky, accompanied by the Capitol Symphony Orchestra, it’s sure to be another special evening. On August 8, 2026, the Capitol Symphony Orchestra will once again take the audience on a lively journey through music history to heavenly realms in Büsingpark with “License to Rock On His Majesty’s Symphonic Service,” a spirited crossover performance.

Enjoy the city's most beautiful concert hall with a picnic blanket

The Festival of Lights, organized by the Offenbach City Marketing Association (OSG), is a strolling concert: throughout the park, hardworking volunteers arrange designs made up of a total of 30,000 lights, just waiting to be seen and admired. Several Offenbach-based clubs are responsible for this, and experience has shown that they also like to draw inspiration from the concert’s theme. Along with the music, the lights, and the stars, the park’s old trees and the neoclassical façade of the Büsingpalais create the atmosphere of the city’s most beautiful open-air concert hall. Who wouldn’t want to settle down on a picnic blanket to enjoy all of this together with friends?
