Information on data processing for the implementation of the Drinking Water Ordinance
The Drinking Water Ordinance requires us to collect and process extensive data from you and third parties. We process your data exclusively for the purposes specified by law.
The processing permission is based on Article 6 (1c) of the General Data Protection Regulation. We process your address and contact details and personal identification details, insofar as these are relevant under the Drinking Water Ordinance. We may receive your data not from you but from third parties (e.g. the regional water supply company or your landlord or the property management company commissioned by them).
Your data will be stored by us for as long as is necessary due to the processing and/or statutory storage periods.
You have the right to request information from us about exactly which of your data we process. If we process incorrect information, you not only have the right to demand that we correct it - we expressly request that you inform us of such errors. The exercise of other rights to which you are entitled under the General Data Protection Regulation (right to erasure or restriction of processing and the right to object to data processing and to data portability) is subject to statutory provisions.
